Win an original painting by renowned French artist, David Jamin

For this issue’s prize draw, MANOR has teamed up with Art World Gallery to offer an original painting (framed) by the French artist David Jamin, along with a book compiling the artist’s work.

Plaisir de Lire is painted with acrylic on canvas and measures 41 x 33 cm. It is worth £750 and featured on page 66 of the book which shows the variety of the artist’s work and demonstrates his collectability.

David Jamin has been represented by Art World Gallery for over 16 years. David started as an emerging artist and the gallery set about building his career throughout the UK. He is now world-renowned.

The draw closes at midnight on 30 November 2018 and the winner will be informed within 48 hours by email along with details on how to claim their prize.


Art World Gallery was established nearly 20 years ago by Chris and Ellie Ixer. Originally from the Cotswolds the couple moved their art business to Falmouth four years ago.

The gallery has built a reputation for selling high quality art from France, Italy, Austria, Ireland, Canada and of course the UK, not forgetting some very special Cornish art.

Terms and Conditions

The prize of this MANOR Back Prize Draw is an original painting by David Jamin and accompanying book. The artwork is as follows: Plaisir de Lire, acrylic on canvas, 41 x 33cm, framed, the value of which £750.

Transit of the prize  in the UK will be covered by the gallery. Should the winner wish the prize to be shipped abroad they will need to cover shipping costs.

The winner will be chosen at random from all entries received and verified by Promoter.

The draw will take place at midnight on the 30th November 2018 and the winner will be informed within 48 hours along with instructions of how to claim their prize.

No cash alternative to the prize will be offered. The prize is not transferable.

The prize is not to be used in conjunction with any other purchases from the gallery.

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

Closing date for entry will be the date specified above. After this date, the no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice.

Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

The winner will be notified by email 48 hours following the closure of the draw. If the winner does not claim the prize within 5 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected.

The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
